Thumbs up for Prosound by the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God in Botswana
The Universal Church of the Kingdom of God in Botswana recently approached Prosound to do a complete sound system installation for their 1 200 seater Church.
The main requirement: That the sound system had the capability to carry speeches as well as music to the masses.
The equipment consisted of:
Electro-Voice ZX5’s, supplemented by Electro- Voice FR1 Subs and Electro Voice S 40 front frills, used to provide the sound for the front rows.
Electro Voice ZX1’s positioned underneath the balcony
Powersoft amplifiers were used together with Rane signal processing accompanied by a Yamaha digital mixing console
The Electro-Voice stage monitors were implemented for stage monitoring.
The Prosound team overcame initial difficulties, such as hard surfaces which played havoc with the acoustics, and the 7m height which the speakers had to be suspended from, with some careful speaker placement and concise scaffolding work.
The Church was more than satisfied with the job undertaken, and was confident that the Church would flourish with the Prosound equipment.
"On behalf of the members of the Universal Church Botswana we would like to thank Prosound and their professional team for the good work in our newly built Head Quarters in Gaborone" as quoted by Bishop Jean Paul
