Midas ProX at the Lyric Theatre

Prosound were delighted to deliver a brand new Midas ProX digital mixing console to the Lyric Theatre at Gold Reef City Casino on the 15th April. It has already been hard at work having been delivered just in time for The Naledi Theatre Awards on the 19th April.

The Lyric is an old friend of Prosound, having already invested in a Meyer Melodie PA system. For Lee Brune, resident sound engineer at the Lyric, it was a logical progression to move on to a ProX as it is the flagship of the Midas Pro Audio range.

Prosound Technical Director, Mark Malherbe, says, “The massive output and input requirements of modern performances are easily met with the ProX’s 168 inputs and 99 outputs.”

Lee Brunes says, “This is with the added bonuses of Midas’s audio quality and ease of use.”

The console’s next running will be for “Shrek the Musical” running from the 24th June.

Prosound have recently signed an exclusivity agreement with ProAudio to represent ProX in Southern Africa, ensuring continuity in providing the exceptional levels of service and technical advice users of the Midas Pro Series have become accustomed to over the years from the Prosound technical team.
